Textiles

Designed in London and screen-printed in India, Charlotte’s designs combine her original artworks with reimagined antique patterns.

The designs are hand-drawn and painted in watercolours by Charlotte, before being turned into larger repeating patterns the old-fashioned way with tracing paper. They are then engraved onto silk screens in India, and screen-printed by hand in small batches on the finest quality linen.

This traditional technique applies colour to the cloth one layer at a time. Like an Hermès scarf, each colour requires its own engraved screen. It’s a laborious and time-consuming process, but the result is beautiful richness and depth of colour, and each print run is unique.

Interiors

Whether a whole house, a single room, or just a perfect pair of curtains, Charlotte begins with a sketch that brings the idea to life. With twelve years’ industry experience, she has a great contacts book with names and suppliers to suit a variety of budgets; the knowledge and practical experience to give you confidence in your project; and the enthusiasm to make it all happen.

Recent projects include a beautiful Regency house in Little Venice, a bachelor pad in Islington and a listed cottage in West Sussex.

Products

Art is at the heart of each of Charlotte’s creations. She paints in oils and watercolour and draws in charcoal, pencil and pen.

Although she’s mostly busy with ideas for her next fabric collection, Charlotte also creates all kinds of painted objects, such as this set of lampshades, hand-painted with her clients’ Zodiac signs.
